Climatisation

Untitled Document We can just give overall information, because the clime depends on a lot elements. By precise watching and adjustment every wished clime should be created.

In general:
    1. To feed the plants with enough carbon dioxide (CO2) the compartment air should be changed completely twice an hour.
    2. The temperatures don't go under 16°C and not about 28°C in the ideal case.
    3. The humidity should be between 50%-70% in the beginning; and after the bloom it should be lowered under 60%.
When the buds starting to get very thick the humidity should lowered under 50%.

To actualise this you need:

    1. Exhaust air approx. 300m³ per 600Watts armature.
    2. Additional air shouldn't sucked through one opening anymore by using more than three lamps, it should come with a blower.
This should have usually half as much cubic as the exhaust ventilator cowl.
    3. Speed controller for dimming of the exhaust air and one for the additional air if available.
    4. Humidifier are used in cold months. Even when it gets warm, a humidifier is sometimes used.
    5. Humidistats for controlling the humidifier respectively the air dehumidifier.
    6. Fans for circulating the air.
    7. Thermostat controlled heater.
    8. Min-/Max-Hygrothermostat for monitoring.

When your installation is complete, control the values with the Min-/Max-Hygrothermostat, which can show you the highest und the lowest temperature and/or humidity. You begin with the adjustment of the humidity by turning down the exhaust air on too less humidity.
If the humidity is too high abd your exhaust air is too small, you need a dehumidifier. In this case maybe a clime device could help, because it soakes 1 liters of water per hour out of the air - that is why we disadvise these cost-intensive cooling method. In the warm months of summer you should take a break, besides you have the chance to grow outdoor.

Humidifier should be controlled by a Hygrostat. Because Hygrostats only switch on or off on relative humidity, you shouldn't trust the shown values only, keep an eye on your Min-/Max-Hygrostat and controll it if needed.

Fans should be place that they don't blow on the plants directly; - this can lead to a so called burn or wind-burn, that happens when the humidity is always blown off the leaf - it lets the plant dry out! They leaves should move very light, then the agitation works.
