Marihuana drinnen (Marijuana indoors) by Jorge Cervantes
This is the very bible for homegrowing. Every indoor cultivator should have one standing on his shelf. It contains everything: From the cion to the harvest - Here you find the essential and promising information, if you fancy gathering really big buds. Cultivating on stone-wool, cocos substrate, foamed clay or simply on soil, wether hydroponic or organic, every way of breeding is regarded in the book. Comprehensive descriptions about how to bring up the seedling to become a strong stock plant - Cloning the cuttings by yourself will be no longer a problem, due to the instructions. Lacks of nutrients, thrips, spider mites or other problems with breeding cions are things of the past. You will find descriptions of dutch propagators and instructions for your own growboxes. You'll find advice to metal halide lamps and metal vapor lamps like e.g. sodium lamps etc.

Plant-strengthener
are normally no fertilizer and except for a few they don't heighten
the EC value of your nutrient solution. Since the manufacturers of
fertilizers and grower often give no informations about those extra
products they are mostly neglected. But only a strong plant can resist
diseases and pests. Plant-strengthener
and their attributes:
- Comcat
(Campion extract): One of the most favoured products.
Strenthens the plant's immune
system and forwards the anaerobiosis. Dosage: 1gr. on
1 litre, can be added to the leave fertilizer or sprayed with
water. It also works with irrigation water, but then the usage
grows. Because of this just use it all two weeks for a one-time
irrigation. The last viert weeks before harvesting you don't need
to use it anymore.
- Trichosan
(Trichoderma): A fungus, that spreads in the ground. It
forwards the building of roots and works preventive against mildew
in the ground. How to use: The best way is to fill it in a shaker
with big holes. Scatter it while planting the cuttings in the
place where the plant should grow. You can also add it to the
substratum or to the irrigation water, but sometimes the irrigation
systems will congest. And here it is the same again: 1gr. for
1 litre.
- Nettle
powder: Used for making planting sullage. The sullage
forwards the growth (under activating the anaerobiosis), a strong
leave building and the stimulation of soil bacteria.
Dosage: Prepare 200g with 15l water. Ferment it for 10-15 days,
then give 1-2 litre into 10 litre irrigation water. It enhences
the EC value for a bit, depending on how long and under what temperatures
you let the stuff ferment. Can be used with conventional fertilzer
water. You should add some valerian extract to avoid the nasty
stench. For a use in an irrigation system you must sieve the brew
through a cloth. All the ado pays out on this very good price/performance
ratio.
You can stop using it six weeks before harvesting.
- Valerian
extract: Activates the soil culture (enzymes and ground
mushrooms are meant with this, and no vermin!) inside the substratum
and binds awkward odors of the planting sullage.
Dosage: 15ml valerian extract attenuated with 5litre water.
