Atypical for a Czech absinthe, Trul Absinthium 1792 is heavy on the anise. It has a strong herbal flavor, which is dominated by the anise and here at the Red Absinthium a strong wormwood taste. This absinthe is also an unusual Czech in that it louches to a nice red-white tone when mixed with water. The thujone content in this gem is high, coming in at approx. 28 mg/kg.

Red Absinth is a new generation of absinth designed for drinkers still not content with the existing ones. It is young, dynamic, fine and sharp at the same time, excellent in respect to mixed drinks and, first of all, identically with all our types of absinth - it contains thujone.

Absinth is made from distilling the leaves and stems of hand-picked Artemisia Absinthium (Wormwood) and is then macerated in herbs. It is 100% natural and is created to this day using the same formula that made the distillery famous in the last century with exports to England, France, Germany and the rest of Europe.

Still today absinth drinkers enjoy the ancient ritual before they enjoy their drink:

Sugar is placed on a spoon and suspended over a tall glass
filled with a shot of green Absinth.
Then ice-cold water is dripped over the sugar
and allowed to fall in beads into the drink.

Each drip turns to a fresh snow-packed white.

while the method was attractive in itself,
the drink's change in colour, drip by drip, resembles alchemy.
