Many homegrowers are afraid of an effective odour control because of high costs, that high quality devices and filters would generate.
The well-respected producer PRIMA KLIMA therefore has developed a new series of filters, the so-called ECO-Line. That means an affordable line of activ carbon filters that is not expensive on one hand, but doing a terrific job on the other hand.

How is it possible to produce good quality with lower costs?
PRIMA KLIMA is filling the activ carbon filters of the ECO-Line with an about 1cm thinner layer of activ carbon. This has got no effect on the efficiency of the filters, but only on the durability. After about 11 monthes you should replace your activ carbon filter.
More than that, the activ carbon filters of the ECO-Line show a rougher perforation. The metal parts are about 0.5mm thinner.
This leads to thin and sharp flanges. You are a little bit in danger to cut yourself. So be careful!
Another saving is the rough fleece, that the pre-filter is made of (the white covering). The rough fleece still has no influence on the efficiency of the odour filter, but on the durability.
All together you purchase an activ carbon filter with a very good price-performance ratio.
