Activated carbon filter, Ø 35cm, 100cm long, 4300 m³/h

Activated carbon contains almost 100% strongly blown carbon. Showing a structure of a sponge, the activated carbon has an surprisingly large surface. The inner surface ( the surface of the air bubbles inside the carbon) is up to 2000 sqaure meters per gram. 5 gram of carbone have more surface area than a football-pitch. When the air flows through this activated carbon, the harmful substances, dirt particles, solvent remainders and organic pollution stick to the carbon and the air gets clean.
Many carbon filter manufacturers use “high density” carbon with compressed used coal dust. Pressed carbon is considerably heavier. For the carbon airfilter, “low density” carbon is used. The carbon is excavated naturally and sieved to required sizes. These particles weigh less and contain many more small air channels (pores) than the “high density”- type. That's why these particles have a larger filter capacity, they last longer before saturation and are as well extremely well suited to use in a damp environment.

Plus: The perforations of the steel outer case are larger than in most other carbon filters. Because of this, the burden on ventilation equipment is lower and as a consequence, this equipment does not wear out so fast. The perforated inner and outer casings have a relative ventilation of ca. 55%. The system lasts longer this way and can result in a better yield. Besides of this, it enables you to regulate the conditions of your climate more effectively.

Attached to the bottom of the larger filters there is a conical smooth aluminium base. This extra designed cone, made of aluminium plate, enables the air to flow evenly through the filter. This again prevents the premature saturation of the upper side. The metal flanges of carbon airfilters, made of 0,7 mm galvanized steel, are stronger than flanges produced by other manufacturers. Likewise, the reinforced flange is subjected to a considerably lower risk of damage during transport and assembly.

At a single weight of more than 32 kg we have to deliver on a pallet. The price for the shipping is - depending on the distance - between 60 - 90 Euro per pallet.
