This pot saucer for plant pots is made of polypropylene (PP), wich has some advantages towards other synthetic material. PP is stiffer and more solid than for example polyethylene, but is more flexible than e.g. polyamide.
Due to tha fact, that this saucer is used for cultivating and growing plants, it will have much contact to irrigating water with acids and bases. PP is completely resistant against that. Neither fats and solvers can harm the pot saucer out of polypropylene.
So the saucer for 15x15x21cm pots is the perfect to protect the subsurface and to collect surplus irrigation water.
