The Chili Pepper Hot Fire (casicum baccatum) is a very hot type of chili, which is 50 times hotter than Jalapeños! The plants remain stocky and compact and develop small, perfectly formed fruits that ripen from orange red to yellow. The chili pepper requires humous, well drained and warm soil. Important: Avoid stagnant water!

When used sparingly these chili peppers provide a pleasantly hot and you need exotic flavour. They may also be used dried and ground as chili powder. Ideal for typical South American dishes.

Sowing: under glass, January  - March, Do not plant outside until late May, harden before.
