Made from wormwood (artemisia absinthium), absinthe was banned throughout almost the whole of Europe between 1900 and 1930 because of the  psychoactive neurotoxin thujone. TABU revives the absinthe legend, so that this unique beverage is now enjoying a renaissance and today is a  'must have' for every bar, at home and in gastronomy.
Virtually no other spirit has captured human imagination like absinthe. Perceptions are first and foremost positive, yet also unjustly negative. But  it would be a crying shame not to enjoy the unique taste of a genuine TABU absinthe simply because of a misconception.
