This Cooltube tempered glass-tube reflector is equipped with two outer reflecting wings and has two 125er connectors to be connected directly to the fan and remove the hot air within. This gives you several advantages: It's easier to keep the temperature constant, even in combination with a small an ineffectiv fan. You can use cupboards and smaller rooms or rooms in the cellar more effectively. Your plants can grow closer to the lamp without being burned. The reflector should hang in a low position to reach the maximum of light intensity. The right height to hang the reflector can be detected by measuring the hot-spot (the hot-spot is the temperature of the lamp on the level of the plant-top).
Basicly is valid: As cooler and more humid the airflow is, as better the cooling effect.
Working in good conditions the Cooltube reflector can keep cool air at 8 degrees Celsius.
Pay attention that the exhauster pushes the air through the Cooltube (as shown on the drawing), if not the the fan will get too hot and can damage your device.

Further on you should fix the hoses with duct tape to the lamp, because the heat makes it melt. You should use our hose clamp for this matter.
