The minimalist design of these shades does not require reflector end-plates to maintain it''s shape, therefore airflow around the lamp and wings is uninhibited, significantly reducing heat build up within the reflector and the entire grow - room. Hence the Adjust-A-Wings are capable of producing a "cool" broad even spread of light, with unmatched power and efficiency, for a wide range of applications.
This version of an adjust-a-wings reflector has a height adjustable E40-socket, that allows the use of stronger illuminants (600, 1000 Watt). The latest sockets, which are adjustable in height, are meanwhile partly made of solid plastic quite often. This, of course, doesn't derogate the quality.
