Unfortunately the flow table inlay has very big dimensions, so the shipping will cost more than the normal charge, because we have to ship it with a bulk surcharge. Please ask us before ordering this product to avoid any misunderstandings. But this charges is only to be paid once when you order more than one of this item.

This ebb and flow table inlay is well capable for the cultivation of cuttings and it needs two holes, - 1 x 2cmØ und 1 x 3cm Ø.
To drill these holes without spoiling the inlay, you need a special conical drill. In case you don't have one, we will drill the holes before we deliver the inlay and we will only charge 3.- Euro extra.

These holes are necessary, because you need an inflow hole and an outflow hole in the flow table. You have to insert a hose into each hole. Through the inflow you flood the table until all plants are standing in a few centimeters of water. The garden fleece, a mat of unorganic fibre, that you have put underneath the plants before, gets wet. Immediately the water starts going back down slowly through the outflow.
In  case some of the roots haven't been under water, they now take dewiness from the mat. Without the mat they would be in danger to dry out quickly, because evaporation is very high in the heat of a growbox.
With this procedure you can irrigate high amounts of cuttings more evenly and more easily. Each plant recieves the same amount of water.
Some growers prefer to drill only one hole and then let the water go in and out through the same hole. That's what you can do, too, if you wish, of course. You won't need an extra outflow and no second hose then.
