With one lamp approx. 20% more lightning area - with more lamps up to 40%. In the new lightrail a dimmable retarder is built in, which can be set to 1 to 60 seconds, to guarantee a constant growth in the bed.

Why moving the lamp?

By moving one lamp on a 1,8m rail the lightning area will be heightened by a factor of 1,6. This means lesser operation expenses, because of the better earnings while using a single lamp.

The lumes generated by the growth lamp drop with the distance of the lamp. In order to avoid the heat resulting with stationary growth lamps, which can be harmful to the plants, the lamp must be in a farer distance to the plants.
Your plants will get more lumes that the lamp can generate itself (and for what you pay). By moving the lamp you can warrant a narrow plant-to-lamp-tolerance (and use the electricity, you pay for, more efficiently), without generate harmful heat. This means a lower operating expenses by higher earnings.

The movement of the lamp from the one side of your garden to the other gives light in very differend angles. By this more light can reach the leaves from below, leaves that don''t get much light normally. Since a larger part of the plant participates in the photosynthesis process, it comes due to the larger yields to smaller operating cost.
