The spectrum of colors of this lamp contains red and yellow, and a very big percentage of blue (30-40%, more than a SON-T), the illuminant can be used for the phase of growing and blooming.
This illuminant can be used with a 600W HPS-ballast and a E40 socket.

The small picture shows the colour spectrum of the OSRAM Plantastar. You can recognize a definit larger fraction of red light, which makes this illuminant a bloom-light. The very little fraction of blue colour in all "Plantastar"illuminants is expanded ca. 30%. Though it is still small in relation to the entire spectrum, this blue light is affecting the blossoms very positively.

To increase the effect of the lamp, you should additionally assemble a reflector.
