There is nothing easier!
Imagine, you're laying on the couch, the tobacco pipe in one hand, a glass of absinth in the other. In the kitchen the diry plates marching into the dish-washer just by themselves, Jack Russell is opening his food tin all alone and the plants are watering themselves.
A dream?
Well, we can't help with the dog and the plates, but all the other points – no problem!
-What? Plants watering themselves?
Yes, with the Blumat- watering-system.

Blumat systems work without the aid of a computer or electronic controls.
The secret lies in properly dosed, even and flexible watering. The Blumat trickling installation automatically controls the watering process.
The plants receive only the water that they need. You can entrust the watering of your plants to the Blumat systems.

The so called Tropf-Blumat is the core piece of the Blumat system. It is modulator, sensor and trickle valve in one. A T-connector and 20 cm dripping hose always comes with it.
You fill the Tropf-Blumat, wich's base is a wetness-sensor made of pottery, with water and close it air-tightly. Then you put the sensor completely into water for about one hour. So the pottery conus can take fluidity. After that you stick the Tropf-Blumat into the soil in interspaces of 20 – 25 cm.
Now you cut off adequate pieces of the supply hose and with these you connect the Tropf-Blumat by using the enclosed T-connectors.
The supply hose has to be connected wether with the water tab or a tank.
Now, when the soil becomes dry, the desiccating pottery sensor creates a certain section power for the physical wetness balance, that releases the watering. As soon as the soil is wet enough, the suction power stops and the watering ends just by itself.
